It turns out that the website markup language, HTML, doesn't have a convenient method for pulling text from another file into a web page. Putting the text into an image is a convenient way to give the appearance of having done so. (HTML is the simple language in which this very page is written. If you're curious what it looks like, try View → Page Source in Firefox, or View → Source in Internet Explorer.)
Why did I do this? I did so to avoid having to remember where I have typed the phone number into various web pages. Instead, I only have to make the change once ... well, twice, once in the referenced image, and once here on this web page, since it has a text copy (below) of the phone number in case you want to grab it with a copy and paste it elsewhere. So, the only real reason is ease of maintenance of the HFSC web site. But that's a big deal to me, because I'm getting old, and maintenance gets harder the worse your memory gets!
That's all ...
Here's the image containing the High Flights trailer telephone number: and here's the corresponding text version: 719-200-7884.
